HD-SDI Security Camera System

HD-SDI is an optimized technology to transmit and record from HD-SDI Camera to Digital Video Recorder via coaxial cable for Full HD video

HD-SDI DVR can support Real-time monitoring and playback at the resolution 1920x1080 via VGA or HDMI port, also a series has the various lines up from the cost-effective 4 CH to Hybrid 16CH.

In addition, it supports mobile viewer to monitor on 3G smart phones such as Iphone , Android, Blackberry and Windows mobile, so the users can connect DVR to control live monitoring, playback and PTZ at any time through network.

It is needed for the places such as bank, casino, or hospital needed for high definition quality.

HD-SDI transmission method

HD-SDI transmission is achieved throughout Coaxial cable. This means that HD leveled image can be transmitted using conventional SD-CCTV cable installed already in fields. For example, camera has HD-SDI output and DVR support monitoring and recording in a way that conventional SD-CCTV does

Let's check about differences of transmission method between HD SDI and SD method. As you see in below chart, same coaxial cable is being used but there are differences in transmission method between Digital and Analog, differences in frequency and transmission distance.
